麥震東Don Mak

麥震東1983年生，於香港出生及成長。1999年始以繪畫為志業，初時謀食於各大漫畫社，偶爾兼職廣告插畫。2004年加入香港插畫師協會， 2009年於香港理工大學設計系畢業，現為全職插畫師。

Don Mak was born in 1983 and brought up in Hong Kong. He joined the local comic talents in 1999 and also worked as a part time illustrator for commercial advertisement. He has been a member of the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators since 2004. In 2009, he graduated with a BA (Hons) in Design – Visual Communication from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is now a full time illustrator.

 

北角一瞥A Glimpse of North Point

遊走在春秧街、渣華道、英皇道，聽著神秘的閩南語，與人群擠擁在同一道上。新光、華豐、新都城，見證著段段幾被湮滅的往事──我想把這些景色畫出來。

Wandering in Chun Yeung Street, Java Road, Kings Road, mingling in the street with crowds, a sense of mystery is prevailing as I walk into the street full of shopkeepers speaking in Min Nan. Sunbeam Theatre, Chinese Goods Center and Metropole Department Store, the survivors from dissolving, are still here. I would like to draw them all.
